How We Can Help
What we do:
We computer-generate completed documents as you need them to complete the four-step divorce process.
We also answer your procedural questions and insulate you from the bureaucratic pitfalls of the court system.
How we do it:
Once we receive from you some basic information, we set up your electronic file, complete your first-step documents, and either e-mail or postal mail them to you.
It then becomes your option to sign the documents and mail them back to us together with the court filing fee and either complete or partial payment to us, in accordance with the "Divorce Services and Rates" schedule.
We then work interactively with you by e-mail, toll-free phone, fax, and/or U.S. mail to complete the four procedural steps needed to complete a New Jersey divorce.
Your spouse is involved in this process at least to the extent that he or she must be formally notified by means of a court summons that you have started the divorce process.
The process normally ends when you appear before a Superior Court judge in your county courthouse together with the final documents you want signed. In most cases, your spouse will not have to appear with you.
You will leave the courthouse that day with a Judgment of Divorce completed by the court.
